And...what about the people who can't pursue their happiness because they are sick? Those people going bankrupt and losing everything because of the sky rocketing health care costs? Those people who die because their health care decided they had a pre-existing condition and no longer qualify for their benefits?

This is absolutely a matter of the right to pursue happiness. Health is without a question, an absolutely important part of living, a liberty to live without worry of illness, and a part of pursuing happiness.

No one here is talking about going to the doctor and not paying them, so why even bring that up.

What's funny here is that we are already paying for people's health care, whether they have coverage or not. I love how that is completely ignored. Yes, I know, us liberals, crazy as can be, but if you would like to quote some biblical text, let's talk about love thy neighbor. I mean, honestly, if your brother, sister, mother, father, child, or some random stranger was injured and asked you for help because they could die, would you say no? If someone was there, in person, you could look them in the eye and they were dying, and all you had to do was give out 3 dollars to save their life, you would say no?

Because that's what you're doing.
