The answer is simple: we don’t need the fed – we never have. America was far more prosperous without having a privately owned bank issuing our currency (congress has the power to coin money constitutionally – why not restore that power?). We The People are now paying interest on the debt owed to bond holders and private fed member banks – interest that already amounts to half a trillion dollars PER YEAR OR MORE. The fed is robbing us blind, and it seems as if republicans and democrats alike are intent on maintaining the status quo.

Efforts are made by the bankster controlled media to hide the issue of massive debts being purchased by the federal reserve. Mainstream media constantly talks about the debt owed to China – which is important and needs to be addressed – however, foreign investors (foreign central banks, etc) only own roughly 20% of US debt – while the federal reserve owns the other 80%. Shouldn’t the media be talking about that?

The federal reserve, through its inflationary monetary policy, imposes a hidden tax on the people by diluting, or devaluing, the money. Since only the middle class is governed by capitalism and the rich and poor are governed by socialism (the poor receive entitlements and the super rich have access to the fed’s easy credit before the inflationary effects), the middle class is in danger of being destroyed by the fed’s policies.

How did we get from having a currency backed by gold and silver, as mandated by the constitution, to having a fiat, paper currency issued by a private bank which won’t even allow the American people to know its monetary policy? The answer is that we let a group of private banks trick us into thinking that we needed them to stabilize our currency. The truth is, the exact opposite has happened, and the fed has devalued our currency to 5% of its original purchasing power. Sound money, which can only be money that is backed by a hard asset such as gold and silver, is the basis for a true free market economy and no fiat currency will ever bring stability to any economic system, ever.

End the fed, restore prosperity.

While interviewing Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes, Bill O’reilly justifies disarming American citizens, in direct violation of the 2nd amendment, during a “national emergency” such as hurricane Katrina – because of the looting and chaos that took place. We know that in New Orleans, weapons were confiscated from everyone, not just armed looters and people in the streets. Police forcefully entered homes and confiscated weapons from homeowners, even in upscale neighborhoods of the city. O’Reilly said that he supports the suspending of the constitution when authorities “can’t control the city”. Furthermore, O’Reilly asserts that it is a “pretty extreme position” to oppose unconstitutional policies during a “state of emergency” (which, I might add, is always vaguely defined and seems that lately, can be declared at any time, for any reason and under any circumstances that authorities feel is appropriate).

O’Reilly interviewed Steward Rhodes because of the statements of Mark Potok in a previous interview. Potok claims, in the interview, that members of the Oath Keepers are dangerous because they are joining as a reminder that they took an oath to first and foremost defend the constitution. I would argue that it is people like Potok who are dangerous – people who think that the Constitution only applies in situations where everything is peachy. Well, Potok, I have news for you – the Constitution applies at all times – not just when you or any other lawyer or government official thinks it does.

We have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Does health care fit into any one of these categories? Those are derived from biblical principles by our founding fathers – the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are inalienable rights which are in turn outlined in the bill of rights. They cannot be taken from us by any person, government, or organization.

Health care, on the other hand, is not guaranteed. The reason is that someone has to provide the service, who in turn has to provide for his or her family using the payment for his or her services. By saying that I am entitled, or have the right to, his or her services means that even if I cannot pay for said services, he or she still has to treat me anyway. Thus, I am robbing him or her of their pursuit of happiness and the wages for their labor, which is wrong.

Liberals would say (in a very indirect manner) that I have a right to health care, even if I cannot pay for it – but those providing the health care should not have to work for free. That means that if I need health care and can’t pay for it, I am going to have to take money from someone else to pay the health care provider. That brings us back to the scenario of robbing the provider, but now I am robbing someone else who also has their own happiness to pursue.

The government has done a fantastic job of convincing people that when they get money from the government, it was absolutely free. Thankfully people are beginning to wake up to the fact that “free” money causes inflation through the expansion of the money supply. Inflation, in essence, is a hidden tax because every time a dollar is printed it lowers the purchasing power of all the dollars that you and I have in our pockets… so we have in effect paid a tax to allow the government to fund some new deficit spending project, like universal health care, for example. So again, everyone who traded in their clunker and got $4500 for it, was subsidized by the rest of us. We won’t see any of that money back, and our money is worth less now. Do you think that is right?

Along the same lines, do huge banks have a right to survive if they’ve been managed poorly? The effect on the money in the bank is the same: the value deteriorates! It seems far more innocent to give free health care than to bail out a bank, but both require taking money from someone else..something the founding fathers never envisioned for a free America.

HR 1207 now having 290 cosponsors is a significant number because now two thirds of the house of representatives is cosponsoring the bill, which means that now the bill is eligible for consideration under suspension of house rules. What that means is that the bill can be expedited through the house, by means of being considered “under suspension”, allowing a two-thirds vote for final passage and limiting floor debate and prohibiting floor amendments. By prohibiting floor amendments, the house votes on the bill as amended, which is what Ron Paul and his cosponsors want for this bill – HR 1207 needs to stay exactly as it is – short and to the point – without being watered down and made ineffective by the global elite controlled politicians that wish to keep the Federal Reserve exactly where it is today – with a stranglehold on the American people.

This is great news – and if your congressman/woman hasn’t cosponsored HR 1207, ask them to cosponsor it today! Also ask your senators if they will cosponsor S 604!

For reference, the house bill HR 1207 is called the “Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009″ and S 604 is called “Federal Reserve Sunshine Act of 2009″.

FREEDOM!!!!

Hearings on HR 1207, Ron Paul’s Federal Reserve transparency bill, will be conducted on Friday, September 25th at 9 AM. This is confirmed by Ron Paul, who has confirmed with Barney Frank, the House financial services committee chairman.

Hopefully, HR 1207 will receive a standalone up or down vote on its own merits and will not be tacked onto another bill and watered down. Please contact your representatives and request that they first cosponsor the bill, and if they already have, ask that they support a standalone vote on HR 1207.

Why the not-so-federal reserve has been able to conduct its operations in near total secret to this date is completely beyond me. The American people are ready to find out where all the money has gone. Once they know, they will hopefully realize that the Federal Reserve has never been, and certainly is not now, necessary for the US economy to thrive. Congress should take back the power of money creation from the greedy, power hungry, unconstitutional financial overlord known as the federal reserve. Only then will we have a stable economy and a government that is truly limited in its spending abilities.

Be sure to watch the hearings on Friday, September 25th at 9:00 AM! This is history in the making!

Following Ron Paul and Bill Posey grilling Ben Bernanke, Alan Grayson grills Ben Bernanke on lending to foreign central banks. He mentions that before 2007, there had been absolutely no lending to foreign central banks and brings up a great point – whether there is actually a provision in the federal reserve act (which was enacted illegally anyway) that allows this type of lending? He also says, correctly, that the constitution states that “no money shall be drawn from the Treasury but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law”. Bernanke seems to think that provision doesn’t apply to the Federal Reserve, even though the loans to the foreign central banks are in the form of treasury bills.
It is time to unveil this private bank and destroy their shroud of secrecy. Go and sign the petition now!

Following the very controversial Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) report, comes Janet Napolitano’s Department of Homeland Security report titled, “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and
Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.” The report, which was released to all law enforcement agencies around the country, seeks to ostracize conservatives and label them as “extremists” simply because they may believe that gun control is contrary to the Constitution that we used to hold so dear.. or that abortion is wrong, or that emerging world government, currency, and trade can be a threat to our national security and sovereignty.

They wonder why veterans might feel as though they have been wronged. To begin with, they were made to fight unconstitutional wars, often under a foreign (UN) flag. They are risking their lives for the global elite, those who want nothing more than power and the ability to control everyone as slaves, both economically and physically. Our troops have put up with a lot. I can see why Janet Napolitano thinks they may revolt and oppose our government which has become so bloated and overbearing it is starting to resemble a 1984-esque orweillian nightmare.

It should come at no suprise that the Department of Homeland Security is targeting the only people that stand in their way of unfettered, sweeping power. Democrats sure aren’t going to, they want the social programs, they love Obama.. and they will love him all the way into destruction – just like a frog in slowly heating water. Liberals won’t do a damn thing until it is too late.

Our system of government, a constitutional, federated republic, is founded on the principle that people are liars and thieves. That is why we put into place the checks and balances that have kept our country prosperous (kept the government out of people’s lives, and the free market, for the most part) for so many years. The constitution of the United States of America serves to bind the hands of our leaders so that they cannot elevate their own power. Once those balances are gone, our republic, and soon our way of life, are gone as well.

If you are one of those that thinks that the “right wingers” are going too far, ask yourself, why is the government going to such great lengths to profile those people that wish to diminish their power for the good of the entire country (liberals included)? Small government, fiscal responsibility, and personal liberty are all things that are necessary for our republic to survive. If you do not agree with the conservative movement, sorry to be brash – but you want to change our country into something that it was never intended to be.

In this phone interview with Glenn Beck, Judge Napolitano describes what the Federal government is doing in layman’s terms when they bail out failing companies like GM and AIG. He says, “let’s take the bailout of the automobile manufacturers. Consumers have voluntarily chosen not to buy the products made in Detroit, such that every car they make in Detroit they lose money on. And investors have voluntarily chosen not to invest in Detroit such that they don’t have enough money to run their businesses. But the government that we have freely elected has chosen to go over our freely made choices and force us against our will to invest in these failing companies. “ He goes on to say that it’s not even permitted under the constitution and that it is theft when the government takes our money against our will.
