The new Constitutional Convention and what it means for America

In case you haven’t heard, there is currently in progress a call by 32 states (thus far) to hold a constitutional convention.  Delegates to the new Constitutional Convention would seek to permanently alter the Constitution of the United States of America, destroying anything that lays in their path to globalism and power.  Those things that are in their path just so happen to be just about every amendment dealing with personal liberty and limitations on the power of government.

What makes me particularly sad is that Texas is among the states that voted for a new Constitutional Convention.  Why would Texas or any other state possibly want to change the Constitution that has guided our country for over 220 years?  Those that are in power now are corrupt and seek to destroy the freedoms that stand in their way of power.  There can be no other explanation.  Think about it – Washington insiders trample the constitution every day as it is – so what would stop them from removing anything that is in their way at a Constitutional Convention?  The answer is NOTHING!

The shift toward globalism in our government has already started, which is why it is clear to see that the powers that be seek to destroy US sovereignty in a new Constitutional Convention.  Take for example Bush’s agreement to subject the SEC to UN regulation, effectively giving an unregulated global organization control over the US economy.  Take for example the destruction of Posse Comitatus and Habeas Corpus.  Take for example the merging of the US Air Force and the Canadian Air Force.  These are only a few examples, so can you imagine what would happen if we allowed the Constitution to be rewritten?

Contact your State legislator and tell them to rescind their vote for a new Constitutional Convention.  The country depends on it.
