Mike Conaway (Texas Cong. Dist. 11) cosponsor of HR 1207 (Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009)
May 12, 2009 Campaign for Liberty, Ron Paul, economy, news, politics
Since I live in Texas Congressional district 11, I called Mike Conaway, my representative, to ask if he would cosponsor HR 1207, the Federal Reserve transparency act of 2009. Although Congressman Conaway at first sounded reluctant to cosponsor the bill, I convinced him that it was important that the American people have some insight into the internal affairs of the Federal Reserve since they are, after all, dealing with OUR money and printing it by the billions with absolutely no oversight. Congressman Conaway agreed to cosponsor the bill (authored by Congressman Ron Paul) and is now listed as a cosponsor on govtrack.us. The bill currently has 149 cosponsors (as of May 12, 2009) and is gaining significant momentum. All members of the r3volution and every conservative who believes in fiscal responsibility, small government, and strict oversight of the government wants this bill to successfully get out of committee and be put to a vote in the House of Representatives. Then, the HR 1207 Senate companion bill, S604, must also be passed. Contact your Congressmen and Senators today and urge them to vote ‘yes’ on HR 1207 and S604!

Funny how if the roles were reversed and Paul had only gotten the 22% Romney garnered and Paul’s people booed Romney for winning, the est. would have STILL attacked Ron Paul and his supporters, just from another angle. Actually, I take that back. They would have wound a way to ignore his total altogether by not reporting the remaining totals. The est. is SCARED! They have been squirming now for 2 years trying to figure out how to neutralize this REAL conservative movement. They will fail.
