John McCain wins the “biggest hypocrite of 2008″ award

John McCain is the winner!
John McCain, while campaigning to be the Republican presidential nominee for 2008, said that Republicans lost control of the House of Representatives to Democrats because of spending, not the Iraq war, My Way News reports. “The reason why we lost that election, my dear friends, was because we let spending get out of control” said McCain, who’s campaign focuses heavily on cutting spending – despite his proposed mortgage refinancing program, which would cost taxpayers $3 billion to $10 billion, and his continued stance on amnesty for illegal immigrants – a giant economic sinkhole. While it is likely true that the GOP lost the House because of spending, McCain fails to recognize that the war in Iraq is costing taxpayers 2 billion dollars a week, quickly closing in on totaling 3 trillion dollars since the beginning of the war.

Toastyaroma proudly gives John McCain the prestigious “biggest hypocrite of 2008″ award.
