Coolest USB drive ever

While mindlessly surfing the internet, in a chain of surfing that started at the auctionads website, then ebay affiliates program, then back to the auctionads site, where in their blog I ran across a featured auctionads publisher that was a blog about wacky/interesting USB powered things. On their site, I found a product (a cheesy pirate USB hub) sold on a weird Japanese site where I found the most incredible thing i’ve possibly ever seen – this shrimp shaped USB thumb drive. Gaze, ponder, and be amazed.
Skype no longer free to US and Canada

Skype announced, via email, that “After December 31st SkypeOut calls to US and Canada will be charged at the standard SkypeOut rate of ¢2.1 USD (or ¢2.4 CAD) per minute.” Bummer, I was kind of hoping that they would keep it free, despite the original plan of only keeping it free until the end of the year. This kills everyone’s skype/stanaphone incoming/outgoing trickery as well. I guess ebay isn’t making enough money from auctions to keep skype free (sure..)
So far, I haven’t come across any more free PC to phone solutions out there.
