Battlefield 2142 first impressions afterthoughts

After some extensive (not really) thinking and discussing among colleagues, i’ve decided that the weak default weapons in battlefield 2142 are in fact a good thing. Why?
1. Hackers will not be able to hack so easily with an account they haven’t worked on for a while. It really takes some playing to get ranked up and unlock a decent weapon or two.
2. It gives me incentive to keep playing and get the badass weapons, so that I can own newbies with the default weapons still. Its almost like hazing them into the game. That’s what it felt like was happening to me.
3. No good reason here, it just looks better to have three reasons.
