A little google juice for Rand Paul, potential candidate for US Senate

Rand Paul for United States Senate (Kentucky)!!!

We need Rand Paul in the US Senate!

HR 1207 update: federal reserve transparency act of 2009 now has 165 cosponsors!

I pretty much stated the bulk of the update in the title, but anyway, momentum on HR 1207 is moving rapidly.  Please don’t forget to sign your petition urging Nanci Pelosi to schedule debate and a roll call vote on Ron Paul’s audit the fed bill.

Remember it is imperative that we pass this bill so that we can take initial steps to reducing the size of government!

Petition to tell Nancy Pelosi to schedule debate and a roll call vote on HR 1207, the federal reserve transparency act of 2009

audit the fedPlease go and sign the petition! I can’t stress enough how important it is that this bill, HR 1207, passes.  Whether you are liberal or conservative, it doesn’t matter in this issue.  We the people need to know what is happening with the money that is being issued because ultimately it hurts us when the federal reserve cranks up the printing presses and devalues our dollar.  We the people need to know which foreign governments are receiving aid from us without we the people even knowing.  No other bank in the country is immune from being audited, so why is the federal reserve? It is time to unveil this private bank and destroy their shroud of secrecy.  Go and sign the petition now!

Mike Conaway (Texas Cong. Dist. 11) cosponsor of HR 1207 (Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009)

Mike ConawaySince I live in Texas Congressional district 11, I called Mike Conaway, my representative, to ask if he would cosponsor HR 1207, the Federal Reserve transparency act of 2009.  Although Congressman Conaway at first sounded reluctant to cosponsor the bill, I convinced him that it was important that the American people have some insight into the internal affairs of the Federal Reserve since they are, after all, dealing with OUR money and printing it by the billions with absolutely no oversight.  Congressman Conaway agreed to cosponsor the bill (authored by Congressman Ron Paul) and is now listed as a cosponsor on govtrack.us.  The bill currently has 149 cosponsors (as of May 12, 2009) and is gaining significant momentum.  All members of the r3volution and every conservative who believes in fiscal responsibility, small government, and strict oversight of the government wants this bill to successfully get out of committee and be put to a vote in the House of Representatives.  Then, the HR 1207 Senate companion bill, S604, must also be passed.  Contact your Congressmen and Senators today and urge them to vote ‘yes’ on HR 1207 and S604!
